Trade chain STAR became the sponsor of “Barik-A” school in the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility in 2010 ( 25.01.2010 )

The main subject of sponsorship is the payment of rent where the school is situated. During 2009 director of school frequently has faced the problem of eviction.

The school was founded in 1995 for children with low social income: mainly children of soldiers who fell in Karabakh battle, also orphans, who due to this school get quality education.

«We plan to sponsor the school not only with material support, but also visit with gifts and organize interesting tours for pupils in our company», - says STAR executive director Vahan Kerobyan. 

For the official commencement of sponsor certificate and for directing public and government attention to the activities and problems of the school, a visit of STAR trade chain management is planned on 26^th of January. The program of the visit includes introduction to children and teachers, presentаtion of gifts and a tour in the school.

At the end school director Anna Barikyan, president of board of trustees and executive director of STAR chain Vahan Kerobyan will make a speech and the event will be finalized with commencement of the Official Sponsor Ceritificate.
